Important Note on Stay Duration
- You may enter multiple times within a calendar year or stay for a single extended visit. However, the total duration of stay in one calendar year must not exceed 180 days.
- Specifically, citizens of the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Japan are permitted to stay up to 180 consecutive days per entry, while citizens of other nationalities are limited to 90 days per entry.
- For Business travelers, if the total stay (including e-Business) exceeds 180 days in a year, registration with FRRO/FRO is required.
For example: You owned 5-Year Tourist eVisa
After the first two visits, you have already stayed 160 days. This means your third visit can only be 20 more days. After that, you’ll need to wait until the next year (2026) to refresh your 180-day limit. |
